I started shooting air rifle and full-bore (national events) at the tender age of 9. Since then I have tried most of the rifle-disciplines (both national and international programs) and over the years I have come to focus in on the small-bore prone-event. I like the complexity of the discipline and the way you need to master both your mind and body as well as the equipment. Having an engineering-background, I definitely enjoy tuning the equipment, making sure that I get the absolute optimum of what is possible.
This is where the product-range of HPS comes in. I have tried and tested a wide range of equipment over the years and I have come to the conclusion that you cant beat true quality and precision-making in a sport where success is measured in mm. The HPS-product range gives me the possibility to adjust my position towards that optimum feeling and I can always rely on my settings remaining constant without moving or failing. Prone specialists tend to custom-adjust most of their equipment, and in that sense I am no different. The HPS-products does however form a stable platform on which to build my position and with the companies ability to fit almost any barrel/action into their System Gemini FR703-stock (I use a Bleiker Challenger) I would expect more FR703-fitted rifles to appear on the international shooting-ranges over the years to come. As for my own shooting-career only time will tell, but obviously my goals are high and my hope is to be able to establish myself as a consistent shooter on the European shooting-ranges.

For UK customers, we take all major debit or credit cards (except American Express), cheques, cash (if the purchase is face-to-face), or direct bank transfers.

For customers outside the UK, we take all major debit or credit cards (except American Express) or direct bank transfers only. Cheques or money orders will not be accepted as these incur costs to process in the UK.

In all cases, goods will be dispatched upon receipt of payment.

For orders in excess of £500 in value, a 50% deposit is required from the customer in advance. For orders in excess of £10,000 in value, a 65% deposit is required from the customer in advance. Balance payments are taken once the work is completed.

HPS Target Rifle Ammunition - Simply the Best!

Dear HPS,

We have now been back for a couple of weeks and I realise that I have yet to contact you to say what a successful tour it was. We won both international matches, thereby I think setting a precedent. In addition, the South African championship was won by Parag Patel and the State President's Prize by David Dyson. All in all, pretty much a clean sweep and credit to the team for their hard work and professionalism. Credit also to HPS - our ammunition supplier! Two of our team members beat the previous (David Calvert's) South African Grand Aggregate record of 10 points dropped. Nigel Ball dropped 8 and Parag only 5, both using HPS machine loaded ammunition! It was also interesting to see how well the ammo went in the team matches - our V counts were much better, and our biggest margin of victory came at 300m.

Vihtavuori Powders
Vihtavuori Powders - 20kg Bulk: HPS will also be ordering stocks of Vihtavuori for our commercial loading in 20kg drums. We can add any of the Viht powders to our normal production order of N140, N150, N550, and N530 powders. HPS will need to see a copy of your storage license for powder for bulk orders.

Vihtavuori Powders - 1kg Pots: We now hold a good stock of all the Viht rifle powders from N110 upwards. These are: N110, N120, N130, N133, N135, N140, N150, N160, N165, N170, N530, N540, N550, N560, N570, 24N41, and 20N29. We can also obtain the faster pistol powders upon request.

A Happy Customer!
I just wanted to thank all your team at HPS for your help and support with my new TR702 rifle and FR703 stock for my Anschutz. I have shot the full-bore at Bisley and after about 8 shots, the group settled down to under a minute’s grouping at 300m and it shot beautifully after that (aside from the feel and balance which were stunning from the start). I have a couple of big competitions coming up soon and am really looking forward to them with my new rifle.

Also, I sat down the other evening with my FR703 stock on my Anschutz and three of the best cards I’ve ever shot, back to back with one possible and a second iffy possible, but still lovely grouping. Again, the balance of the rifle makes the weight disappear when you are shooting it and it is just lovely to shoot with. I really am thrilled with it and have got a lot of competitions over the coming weeks to show what we can do with it. It’s a great bit of kit, both to use and to look at (it has a good few admirers at the club). Added to that, two days ago I took second in Bucks in the County open and won my class. Result!

I’ll pop in over the Imperial if I don’t speak to you before, but once again, thank you.

Another Happy Customer!
The two Gemini stocks are fine. There is a lot of tinkering to make them fit, but fit they do. I was shooting 600 metres yesterday and let out butt 1/4" and changed the butt plate angle. Voila! 75-12v. The recoil is different and has quite a tight circle which pleases me. The recoil circle was larger with my wood stocks. The Quadlock actions are on metal and shoot as good as or better than the wood stocks. The wood stocks had 1/2 thou bedding deflection so this speaks well of the new stock. I am saving up my money for another Gemini this fall... Regards

Sierra Bullets
Sierra Bullets: HPS will shortly be ordering a large quantity of Sierra Bullets (in excess of 300,000) for delivery around the end of this year or early next year. Most will be .30cal.

If anyone would like us to order any of Sierra's extensive range in other calibres we can do so and can order them in boxes of 500 or 100 (or 50's for a few limited lines) either plain or moly coated (if available). We can also order any line to be all of one batch number.
