Specifically designed to replace the trigger guard on the FR 703, the FR 703 Standing Block is a simple configuration that closely resembles a standard rifle. Its low mass does not have any noticeable effect on the balance or weight of the rifle. For those shooters who feel “simple is best”.

Designed for multiple adjustment in the standing position, the primary feature of the Ultra Standing Block is a micro fine threaded column and hand wheel that allows positional height to be controlled without disturbing the position. A ball and socket joint allows the handshelf to be positioned directly under the centre line of the bore.

Shallow forends may be the ultimate for prone but in the kneeling position the muzzle may be too low. The Ultra Kneeling Block with its set of optional spacers will allow the muzzle line to be raised by 15mm as standard and then by a further 5mm, 10mm or 15mm. Made of Canadian Maple or laminate with an integral accessory rail.

The System Gemini Ladder Foresight gets over the problem of poor location for refit after removal by not using a clamping type mechanism, The sight has a sleeve that is permanently fitted to the barrel, a locking ring then clamps the ladder to the barrel, precision flats on the sleeve make sure there is perfect alignment, this makes the sight easy to remove for transportation of the rifle, there is no risk of bending the ladder frame and guarantees return to an exact windage zero.

The sight has been designed to give a round foresight image, this makes the sight easier to centralise, it has a fully threaded tunnel to accept all metric thread foresight accessories both 18mm and 22mm (although some may reduce the lower travel of the ladder foresight.) Because the locking collar for the sight is on the barrel and not on the tunnel, the exact positioning of an ‘Eagle Eye’ is guaranteed, because it is fixed permanently.

The long travel on the ladder allows the sight to be used with Weaver style rear sights which naturally have a higher sight line and on military style rifles with high sight lines, the tunnel also sits very low to the barrel line to give maximum elevation, the sight has 150 minutes elevation.

To try to get the hand stop to fit into the correct part of the hand; some hand stops move sideways a small amount of 3-5mm. One major manufacturer has even made their accessory rail moveable. The AKTIV-Handstop moves a full 22mm! Yes, 22mm!

Many shooters who use fixed position handstops do not put their hand tight into the hand stop. This is because they try to get the fore end of the rifle resting comfortably across the palm of the hand. A fixed handstop would end up pressing on the index finger knuckle; or conversely the hand stop sits tight into the web between the thumb and the index finger, and all of the weight of the stock ends up over the top of the thumb. Problem solved, a hand stop that can be positioned where it should. But to stop the rifle from being twisted out of position by sling pressure, the pick-up point is still central to the stock; where it should be!
