System Gemini Butt Plates
Free Rifle Butt Plate

System Gemini Free Rifle Butt Plate
is the world’s most adjustable, with over 550,000 permutations; it offers customisation at production prices. It is the only butt plate with mid section articulation giving the ability to twist asymmetrically. The shooter can key the butt plate so finely into the shoulder, that optimum recoil characteristics are obtained, virtually eliminating the need to reposition the butt after each shot. Machined from aluminium alloy.

There is a wide choice of colours. Not all colours are immediately available from stock but can be ordered.

AKTIV Free Rifle Butt Plate

The World’s Best Just Got Better!!

HPS have now produced a new heel hinge cantilever (note the extra cantilever section inserted in the heel plate) which gives the top of the butt plate extra curvature for an even more secure fit.

There is a wide choice of colours. Not all colours are immediately available from stock but can be ordered.

Both the Free Rifle Butt Plate and the AKTIV Free Rifle Butt Plate are available in 3P Sets (3 Positional - for Prone, Standing, and Kneeling Shooting) consisting of 1 carrier plate and one pair of rods and three butt assemblies to fit the carrier in order to reduce cost and the weight of your kit bag!

Extra Long Raiser Bar

Option of an extra long raiser bar which fits all Free Rifle Buttplate versions. This extends the vertical travel of the buttplate in the Guide Plate by 54 mm.

Offset Adaptor Plate
This plate fits between the Carrier Plate and the Raiser Bar and allows the whole buttplate to be offset by an additional 18 mm. Does not fit the FWB versions.

Heel Hinge Cantilever

Available as an upgrade to the existing System Gemini Free Rifle Butt Plate, the Heel Hinge Cantilever will give further contact to the upper part of the shoulder enabling a closer fit to the shoulder shape. The small screw on the rear of the Cantilever prevents the plate from folding flat. This will fit all System Gemini Free Rifle Butt Plates from the earliest model. Several Cantilevers may be fitted in tandem if required.
Heel Plate Assembly

For those that feel that a hook is not necessary for prone shooting, the Heel Plate Assembly, normally used at the top of the Free Rifle Butt Plate, can also be fitted to the bottom of the plate in place of the hook assembly. The Cantilever may also be fitted if required.
AKTIV Standard Rifle Butt Plate

The System Gemini AKTIV Standard Rifle Butt Plate designed in 1992 specifically to give the standard rifle shooter as much support and adjustment as possible. This means there are less possible errors in repositioning the butt after each shot. Shooters with either large or small shoulders can feel confident with the butt placement. Machined from aluminium alloy.

The mounting arrangement allows 15° of lateral movement to position the butt accurately into the shoulder; the mounting rod is universally adaptable to any rifle.

The unique ‘grip lock’ profile makes the shoulder fold of the jacket grip the butt plate, thus giving better support.

The adaptor plate shown on the right is available as an optional extra to permit fitment to other types of rifle stocks.

The AKTIV Standard Rifle Butt Plate will fit most standard and air rifles available and has been upgraded to allow heavy-duty use on Fullbore Rifles.

There is a wide choice of colours. Not all colours are immediately available from stock but can be ordered.

Standard Rifle Butt Spacers
For AKTIV-Standard Rifle Butt Plates the System Gemini Butt Spacers are designed to fit most rifle configurations, giving 5mm or 10mm increments.

For Anschütz Stocks the System Gemini Anschütz Standard Rifle Butt Adaptors allow the System Gemini Standard Rifle Butt Plate to be mounted at 90 degrees to line of sight.
